Sarah Young pictures as Mandy with Maggie (?) in Knave’s christmas issue 1988.
A rare treat this – a glimpse into the domestic arrangements of Alastair Bailsworthy, the new Knave office-boy. Here we see him tucked up on Christmas Eve with his little brother, Quentin. Yes, friends, this is a wimpy home in more ways than one!
So, Alastair and Quentin are just about to toddle off to the Land of Nod when pop!, look who’s just dropped in for a mince pie and a quick noggin!
‘Santa couldn’t make it this year, boys.’ say our two festive fillies. ‘So we’ve come to see just how good you two are before we give you what you deserve!’

Of course, our boy Alastair can’t imagine what they mean, but Quentin’s been hanging around outside the Grievous Bodily Arms again, and knows just what to do with his Christmas stocking! This lad needs something putting in his cocoa!
Maggie and Many have had a hard night too, making sure that every little boy gets his wish granted. Is it any surprise that they’re behaving so strangely? Of course, they get so hot and bothered on their mission of goodwill, that they simply have to take their clothes off to cool down. Well, it stands to reason, doesn’t it?
